Lumina is a handcrafted vessel sink designed to reveal one of the most distinctive qualities of natural onyx: its remarkable translucency. Layers of mineral movement, shifting tones, and expressive veining give the stone an almost luminous depth, transforming a functional basin into a sculptural element within the interior.
The restrained vessel form allows the material to remain the focus. When illuminated by natural or carefully integrated artificial light, the internal structure of the onyx becomes more pronounced, revealing patterns and tonal variations that may appear much subtler under ordinary ambient lighting. Because these characteristics are created naturally within the stone, every Lumina sink is inherently unique.
Key Advantages
- Natural translucency. Onyx interacts with light in a way few architectural stones can, creating exceptional visual depth and allowing for distinctive lighting concepts.
- One-of-a-kind character. Veining, color transitions, mineral formations, and levels of translucency vary naturally from piece to piece.
- Sculptural vessel form. Clean proportions keep attention on the stone while giving the sink a strong architectural presence.
- Made to project specifications. Dimensions, basin geometry, edge treatment, surface finish, and other details can be adapted to individual project requirements.
- Stone selection. Individual pieces of onyx can be reviewed before fabrication, allowing designers to consider color, pattern, and translucency as part of the overall composition.
- Lighting potential. Lumina can become particularly expressive in interiors where lighting is intentionally designed to emphasize the depth and natural structure of the stone.
Where to Use Lumina
Lumina is particularly suited to powder rooms, private bathrooms, luxury residences, villas, boutique hotels, restaurants, lounges, and high-end hospitality interiors. Its expressive material character makes it especially effective in spaces where the sink is intended to become a focal point rather than simply blend into the surrounding finishes.
Onyx works beautifully alongside restrained materials such as natural wood, plaster, marble, brushed metal, and darker architectural surfaces. In more dramatic interiors, carefully planned backlighting or surrounding illumination can further emphasize the stone’s translucency and create a distinctive atmosphere.
Each Lumina Onyx Sink is produced specifically for an individual project. Stone selection, dimensions, proportions, finish, and detailing can therefore be coordinated with the vanity, lighting concept, and surrounding architecture.

Pieces that share material language and architectural intent.
Ondina Travertine Sink
Ondina is a hand-carved travertine vessel sink defined by flowing radial contours and a softly sculpted rim. The warm natural texture of travertine enhances its organic form, making each piece a distinctive expression of traditional stone craftsmanship.
Forma Travertine Sink
Forma is a monolithic travertine vessel sink defined by clean geometry, softened corners, and warm natural texture. Carved from solid stone, its subtle pores and tonal variation give each piece a distinctive architectural character.
